Its content is composed of 100% acrylic for the solids and multi-colored yarns, and 96% acrylic with 4% other fibers for the flecked varieties.
The yarn is available in a variety of colors, with each sold separately. The put-up for the multi-colored and flecked yarns is 5oz/141g, offering 236yd/215m, while the solid-colored yarns come in a 7oz/198g put-up with 364yd/333m.
When knitting with this yarn, the suggested gauge is 17 stitches x 23 rows = 4in/10cm on US size 8/5mm needles. For crocheting, the recommended hook size is I9/5.5mm.
It's important to note that the dyelots may not always be perfectly matched, as the manufacturer tries but cannot always guarantee consistent dyelots. However, the solid-colored yarns are not dyelotted.
For care instructions, the Red Heart Super Saver yarn can be machine washed and tumble dried. Bleaching, ironing, and dry cleaning are not recommended. The yarn comes in a wide range of colors, with each sold individually.
